Bentone® 34 by Elementis acts as a rheological additive designed for low to intermediate polarity organic systems. It is an organic derivative of a bentonite clay. It prevents pigment settling during storage and syneresis in thixotropic systems.
- It improves flow and leveling and controls sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.
- It increases viscosity and provides thixotropy.
- It is used in adhesives, putty & caulking compounds, underbody sealants and sound-absorbing compounds.
