Neoprene® GRT

Supplied byDuPont- Last Updated on Oct 24, 2019

Neoprene® GRT by DuPont is a sulfur-modified, crystallization resistant chloroprene copolymer stabilized with a thiuram disulfide and a nonstaining antioxidant. It rapidly softens, and becomes tacky under the mechanical shear imposed during mixing. Provides high resilience, tear strength, and flex cracking resistance in compounded vulcanizates. Neoprene® GRT is used in adhesive applications. It can be used in composite structures that are subjected to severe dynamic stresses, such as power transmission belts.
