Span™ 83 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, non-ionic surfactant for use as a wetting agent and dispersing agent in non-polar liquids. It acts as W/O emulsifier and O/W co-emulsifier. Provides good environmental and health profile. It is easy to handle and allows high loading of pigments/fillers. It is low foaming with absence of surface defects. It is compatible with acrylic/ vinylic/ UV, epoxy, natural oils, waxes, esters, polyesters and polyurethane. Span™ 83 is used in adhesives and sealants. It complies with REACH regulations.
