ECO Brij™ S2 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, high HLB, non-ionic surfactant. It is used as a versatile & excellent co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions and wetting & dispersing agent. This hydrolytically stable grade is produced from naturally occurring straight chain stearyl alcohol. It is tolerant to more extreme pH levels and higher levels of electrolytes. It offers good environmental & health profile and requires low energy for emulsion formation. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic/vinylic/UV-, epoxy-, natural oils-, waxes-, polyesters- and polyurethanes systems. ECO Brij™ S2 is used in adhesives and sealants.
