ECO Brij™ S100 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, high HLB, non-ionic surfactant. It is produced from naturally occurring straight chain stearyl alcohol. It is used as a versatile & excellent co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions and aqueous wetting & dispersing agent. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic/vinylic/UV-, epoxy-, natural oils-, waxes-, polyesters- and polyurethanes systems. This hydrolytically stable grade is tolerant to more extreme pH levels and higher levels of electrolytes. It requires low energy for emulsion formulation. ECO Brij™ S100 is used in adhesives and sealants. It is listed in IECSC, REACH, ENCS, KECI and TSCA.
