ECO Brij™ O5 by Croda is a 100% bio-based, non-ionic surfactant. It is produced from naturally occurring straight chain oleyl alcohol. It is also used as a versatile co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions and wetting & dispersing agent. This hydrolytically stable grade is tolerant to more extreme pH levels and higher levels of electrolytes. It offers good environmental profile and highly efficient emulsification. It is compatible with polymeric acrylic/vinylic/UV-, epoxy-, natural oils-, waxes-, polyesters- and polyurethanes systems. ECO Brij™ O5 is used in adhesives and sealants.
