Decovery® SP-6400 XP

Decovery® SP-6400 XP by Covestro is a plant-based, low-NaOH, alkali-soluble acrylic copolymer dispersion. It exhibits high clarity and flexibility. It has a lower carbon footprint than oil-based alternatives and offers zero-to-low VOCs. It is produced exclusively from tree bark and castor beans that are sustainably sourced and don't compete with the food chain. It is clear, non-tacky and can be used to adhere to a wide range of substrates including glass and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It offers low temperature wash-off properties which makes it less energy-consuming in the recycling process. It delivers a performance equal to DSM's non bio-based NeoCryl® BT-9. Decovery® SP-6400 XP is especially recommended for adhesive applications such as removable paper labels for bottles as well as domestic adhesives.
