RHEOTECH™ 2800 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is a water-borne, APE-free, hydrophobically modified alkali swellable acrylic (HASE) thickener. It combines the benefits of HASE with flow and leveling behavior of HEUR. It is a low VOC rheology modifier suitable for adjusting mid and high shear viscosities. Designed for pressure sensitive adhesives, tapes and labels. RHEOTECH™ 2800 is an alternative to PU thickeners and has a shelf life of 6 months.
