Viton™ A-361C by Chemours is dipolymer of hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride plus cure chemicals and metal adhesion promoter. It is designed for the injection and transfer molding of parts requiring better metal adhesion along with the fluid and heat resistance characteristics. The moderate viscosity level allows for satisfactory compression molding of parts. This fully precompounded product shows reduced curative level. It offers improved processing, increased mold flow, easier mold release with less mold fouling, improved demolding hot tear and good metal bonding with standard industrial primers. Viton™ A-361C shows excellent storage stability and is used in adhesives.
