Elotex® Eloset 542

Elotex® Eloset 542 by Celanese acts as a rheology modifier. It is free of plasticizers and solvents. It contains no preservatives.

• It is recommended for the modification of hydraulic and non-hydraulic setting mortars, plaster and adhesives.
• It improved workability, sagging properties, spontaneous thickening development, reduced stickiness, high yield and rigidity and good smoothability.
• It is compatible with all standard mortar additives such as redispersible polymer powders, accelerators, retarders and cellulose ethers.
• It is applicable for tile adhesives and joint cement/grouting.
• It has recommended dosage for tile adhesives is 10 – 20% of the cellulose ether dosage, 0.05 - 0.2 weight %, for plasters is 5 – 20% of the cellulose ether dosage, 0.005 - 0.05 weight %.
• Elotex® Eloset 542 has a shelf life of 12 months.
