Celvolit® 149 by Celanese is vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer. It shows excellent heat- and good good shear resistance. It provides good bonding strength on different substrates and fast setting. It also acts as a protective colloid with high set speed and excellent paper adhesion. Celvolit® 149 is recommended for film substrates such as window patching (PET/PVC/OPS), BOPP folder carton making, PVC file making and book binding. This copolymer can be used in textile lamination such as general lamination, shoe-in-sole and bra-making. In the woodworking industry, it is used in PVC overlay, membrane press and EPI wood glue.
