Priplast™ 3172

Priplast™ 3172 by Cargill is a semi-crystalline polyester polyol building block. It is a vegetable-oil based and exhibits low color, excellent stability, strength and enhanced durability. It affords flexibility which allows the product to deform under stress and prevents cracking.

• It can be used in conjunction with flexible substrates.
• Provides improved hardness, adhesion for improved substrate protection and good wetting effects.
• It also exhibits excellent protective properties due to its hydrophobicity.
• It combines thermo-oxidative-, temperature-, UV- and hydrolysis resistance leading to a longer lifetime.
• Suitable for outdoor use even in high humidly, high temperature environments and high concentration of difunctional components which allows for the manufacture of high MW and linear polymers with superior mechanical properties.
• Priplast™ 3172 is used in adhesive and sealant applications.
• It is ISCC certified and complies with regulations of FDA (175.105) and EU (No. 10/2011).
