GARAMITE® -7303 by BYK is a powdered rheology modifier. It is an organophilic phyllosilicate used in adhesives and sealants. It improves sagging whilst enabling easy processing. It is tolerant to high shear forces and no heat or activators is needed for activation.
- It offers greater bulk density than fumed silica, making it easier to use with significantly reduced dusting.
- It provides easy incorporation with a high efficiency in various binder systems based on polyurethanes, epoxides, and silane-terminated polymers.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.5 to 5% based upon the total formulation.
- GARAMITE® -7303 has a shelf life of 60 months.
