DISPERBYK® 2018 by BYK is wetting and dispersing additive. It is a solution of a copolymer with pigment-affinic groups. It is particularly designed for the production of binder- and VOC-free pigment concentrates for adhesives. It has been specially developed for inorganic pigments and transparent iron oxides, and can partly also be used for organic pigments. It is suitable for food contact applications. DISPERBYK® 2018 is used in adhesives. It is listed with EINECS, TSCA, ENCS and NZIoC. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% additive (as supplied) based on pigment for fillers. The shelf life of the grade is 36 months.
