Tinuvin® 99-2 by BASF is a blend of benzenepropanoic acid, 3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-, C7-9-branched & linear alkyl esters and 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate. Used in hotmelt, reactive, solvent based and radiation curing adhesives and sealants. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) of the hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole class. Possesses high thermal stability and environmental permanence. Tinuvin® 99-2 offers high performance, durability, easy incorporation and inhibiting or retarding of the occurrence of failures such as gloss reduction, cracking, color change, blistering and delamination.
