Melapur™ 200 by BASF is melamine-polyphosphate which acts as a halogen-free flame retardant for glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66. Possesses additional handling and processing advantages. It is free of antimony or any other heavy metals. Melapur™ 200 offers a good balance between intumescence and thermal stability providing a processing window of up to 320°C. Offers lower smoke density and is less corrosive to processing equipment. Used in hotmelt, reactive and radiation curing adhesives and sealants.
