Lutonal® M 40 ca.70% in Ethanol

Supplied byBASF- Last Updated on Jul 18, 2024

Lutonal® M 40 ca.70% in Ethanol by BASF is polyvinylether resin, dissolved in 70% ethanol. Used to enhance the adhesion and quickstick performance of adhesives based on dextrine on metal and on painted and printed substrates. It makes the adhesive film softer and more flexible. Aqueous solutions of Lutonal® M 40 ca.70% in Ethanol can be used in place of adhesive resins in pressure-sensitive adhesives based on polymer dispersions.
  • However, they also increase the sensitivity of adhesives to water, which is desirable in some applications such as special label adhesives.
  • Lutonal® M 40 ca.70% in Ethanol is used in packaging and laminating adhesive formulations.
