Loxanol® MI 6735 by BASF is a multifunctional, cationic, highly effective adhesion promoter for bonding different materials. It acts as a physical or chemical cross-linking agent in adhesives. It is recommended for ionic/cationic binders and in a pre-treatment solution.
  • It has high charge density and absorbs strongly on negatively charged surfaces such as cellulose, polyester, polyolefins, polyamides and metals.
  • It is strongly basic and must only be used with binders & pigments that are stable to alkalis such as polyvinylbutyral.
  • The recommended dosage level of Loxanol® MI 6735 is 0.5-1% depending on the application.
