XIRAN® SL40005 P45 by aurorium is an anionic potassium salt solution of styrene maleic anhydride copolymer. Acts as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent, curing agent, vulcanizing agent, dispersing agent and emulsifier. This low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer contains 42% maleic anhydride, high dry solid content and has a Mw (molecular weight) of 5000 g/mol. Exhibits good thermal stability, low solution viscosity, good adhesive bonding, hydrophobic after drying and freeze-thaw stability. XIRAN® SL40005 P45 offers high gloss. Suitable for use in adhesives.
