Supplied byAshland- Last Updated on Jan 23, 2025

Natrosol™ 250 MHBR by Ashland is a fine powder, water-soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. It acts as a viscosity- & rheology modifier, protective colloid, stabilizer, water retention- and suspending agent. It is used particularly in applications where a non-ionic material is desired.
  • It is treated to delay the hydration of the particles.
  • It provides good flow, superior resistance to biodegradation, very good balance of ease of manufacture, thickener efficiency, color acceptance and open time.
  • Natrosol™ 250 MHBR shows compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural & synthetic gums, emulsifiers and defoamers.
  • It is used in tile adhesives, wallpaper, latex and plywood adhesives.
