Natrosol™ 250 JR

Natrosol™ 250 JR by Ashland is a fine powder, water-soluble hydroxyethylcellulose viscosity and rheology modifier. It acts as a protective colloid, water retention agent, stabilizer and suspending agent, particularly in applications where a nonionic material is desired. It is treated to delay the hydration of the particles. It provides superior resistance to biodegradation, a good balance of ease of manufacture, thickener efficiency, color acceptance and open time. It offers compatibility with other materials, such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers. It imparts very good flow properties. It is designed for wallpaper, latex, plywood- and water-based adhesives. Natrosol™ 250 JR is also used in tile adhesives.
