Natrosol™ 250 HBR

Natrosol™ 250 HBR by Ashland is a water soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. It provides very good balance of ease of manufacture, superior resistance to biodegradation, thickener efficiency, color acceptance and open time.

• It is treated to delay hydration of the particles.
• It offers compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural & synthetic gums, emulsifiers and defoamers.
• It is used as a non-ionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in water-based adhesives.
• It imparts very good flow properties and performs in the emulsion & suspension polymerization of many vinyl polymers.
• Natrosol™ 250 HBR is also used in tile adhesives, wallpaper, latex and plywood adhesives.
