Advantage™ 1512 by Ashland acts as an anti-foaming agent. It is readily dispersible, hydrocarbon oil-based antifoaming agent. It offers immediate action and long-term foam control persistency. Its efficiency is not adversely affected by temperature, pH or the hardness of the system. It exhibits very good mechanical stability, long-lasting effectiveness and highly effective on entrained and surface foam. It is used in water-based adhesives. Advantage™ 1512 has a shelf life of 365 days.
