Nanostrength® M53 by Arkema is a high molecular weight, transparent central block of poly (butyl acrylate) surrounded by two poly (methyl methacrylate) blocks. It is a self-assembling block co-polymer.
- It possesses standard polarity with medium soft phase content.
- It offers improved impact strength, high rigidity, modulus, glass transition temperature (Tg), chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, lap shear and transparency.
- It provides best toughening with PMMA friendly crosslinking agents like jeffamine and MDEA.
- Nanostrength® M53 shows compatibility with DGEBA resin.
