Surfadol DF-75 by ACME acts as a molecular defoamer. It is a non-ionic acetylenic diol modified surfactant. It is a blend of 2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol ethoxylate and 2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyne-4,7-diol. It is suitable for water-based adhesives. It breaks foam and reduces dynamic surface tension. It improves wetting of various substrates and pigments. It exhibits good storage stability. It is non-toxic, and silicone-, solvent- and APEO-free. Surfadol DF-75 is listed with TSCA, China (SEPA), Canada (DSL), EINECS/ELINCS, Australia (AICS), Japan (MITI), Philippines (PICCS), and Korea (ECL). Recommended dosage level is 0.1-2.0% of total formulation weight.
