The terminal end-groups have a high percentage of primary hydroxyl end-groups, giving it a relatively high rate of reactivity with isocyanates. MULTRANOL® 3900 is compatible with most polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols, triols, and polymer polyols to achieve desirable modifications of product properties.

MULTRANOL® 9139 by Covestro is a 6000-molecular-weight polypropylene oxide-based triol, specially modified with ethylene oxide. It is a clear, colorless viscous liquid and is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. The shelf life of MULTRANOL® 9139 is twelve months and recommended storage temperature is 15-60 °C.
