Polychlorovinyls (PVC, PVDC) for Adhesives and Sealants

VINNOL® E 15/45 M by Wacker is carboxylate-containing terpolymer of approx. 84 %wt vinyl chloride (VC), 15 %wt vinyl acetate (VAc) and 1 %wt dicarboxylic acid. Provides very good toughness, permanent flexibility, abrasion resistance, low swelling in the presence of water, and low gas permeability. Offers very good adhesion to smooth substrates such as metals, particularly aluminium, to glass and PVC, and to absorbent, po-rous substrates such as paper, cardboard, textiles and concrete. Offers high resistance to water, oil, grease, dilute aqueous acids, alkalis and saline solutions, aliphatic hydrocarbons such as white spirit, and to alcohols. VINNOL® E 15/45 M is designed for adhesives and sealants.

VINNOL® H 40/60 by Wacker is a copolymer of approx. 61 %wt vinyl chloride (VC) and approx. 39 %wt of vinyl acetate (VAc). Offers good toughness, permanent flexibility, abrasion resistance, low swelling in the presence of water, low gas permeability. Provides high resistance to water, good resistance to oil, grease, dilute aqueous acids, alkalis and saline solutions. VINNOL® H 40/60 is used in adhesives.

VINNOL® E 15/48 A by Wacker is hydroxyl-containing copolymer of 84 %wt vinyl chloride (VC) and 16 %wt of acrylic acid esters. It can be used in automotive and industrial adhesives. Offers good toughness, permanent flexibility, abrasion resistance, low swelling in the presence of water, and low gas permeability. VINNOL® E 15/48 A provides high resistance to water, good resistance to oil, grease, dilute aqueous acids, alkalis and saline solutions.

Vinoprene 710 by Rishiroop is a stabilized, non-staining, NBR / PVC blend. Contains high quantity of nitrile rubber. Used in seals, gaskets, refrigerator and automobile window and door gaskets. Vinoprene 710 offers outstanding resistance to ozone, heat, ageing, solvent, abrasion, oil and fuels, flame retardancy, high tensile properties, good tear resistance and good gloss.

Solvin® 264GC by Ineos Inovyn is a plasticized polyvinyl chloride made by suspension polymerisation. Used for the manufacture of window seals. Solvin® 264GC provides flexibility and very good weatherproof qualities.

Vestolit® B 7090 by Vestolit (Orbia Group) is a paste-forming micro-S-PVC copolymer. Used for production of pastes in sealing compounds for cars, and adhesive layers. Vestolit® B 7090 provides newtonian flow, low-fusion temperature, low viscosity, very good storage stability and good mechanical foaming properties.

UMCH Resin 58 by YangGuang Resin is a high molecular weight, carboxyl-functional terpolymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and maleic acid. It provides good flexibility, good adhesion to vinyls, metals, concrete & cellulosic substrates. It is recommended for the production of heat-sealable adhesives. It contains PVC that shows resistance to alkali, base, brine, salty mist, oil ester and alcohols. UMCH Resin 58 is approved by SGS & FDA 21 CFR 175.300 (3)(b)(XV) 21CFR 176.180 21 CFR 177.1210.

Vestolit® P 1353 K by Vestolit (Orbia Group) is a paste-forming homopolymer. It is suitable for producing high-viscosity at low shear rates, with pronounced pseudo-plastic flow behavior. It is applicable for sealants.

Sivic® Z700PX by Zeon Chemical is a polyblend and oil-extended nitrile extended. It is a carboxylated NBR base polymer. It offers improved abrasion resistance for printing rolls and shoe soles. Sivic® Z700PX has a nitrile rubber and polyvinyl chloride (NBR/PVC) is (70:30).

Sivic® Z730 by Zeon Chemical is a polyblend of 33% ACN NBR/PVC (70/30). Possesses no lump, high viscosity and medium ACN content. Provides good physical properties and extrudability, and very good fuel resistance. Sivic® Z730 is used in adhesives for industrial cable and hose.
