Moisture Scavengers for Adhesives and Sealants

Dynasylan® VTMO by Evonik is a vinyltrimethoxysilane-based moisture scavenger, surface modifier, crosslinking agent, and adhesion promoter. It improves abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, tear and fracture resistance, and memory effect.

• It reduces bubbles formation from the reaction of NCO groups with moisture.
• It provides low viscosity, enhanced wet adhesion strength, enhanced corrosion resistance, and resistance to wet scrub.
• Dynasylan® VTMO is listed with EINECS/ELINCS, AICS, DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECS, ENCS, ECL and REACH.
• It has a minimum shelf life of 12 months.

Dynasylan® VTEO by Evonik is a vinyltriethoxysilane grade. It functions as a surface modification, an adhesion promoter, and/or a crosslinking agent. It has the ability to absorb moisture. It offers enhanced mechanical and electrical qualities, enhanced wet adhesion strength, enhanced wet scrub resistance, and enhanced corrosion or scratch resistance. Dynasylan® VTEO is listed on EINECS/ELINCS, AICS, DSL/NDSL, PICCS, TSCA, IECSC, ENCS, REACH and ECL. It has a shelf life of at least 12 months.

TYTAN™ S2 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a titanium ethylacetoacetate compound used in silane and silicone formulations.

TYTAN™ S22 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is an ethylacetoacetate titanate used in silane and silicone formulations. Exhibits improved physical properties and enhanced adhesion.

• TYTAN™ S22 is suitable for RTV silicone sealants.

TYTAN™ S6 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a di-iso-butoxy titanium chelate (ethylacetoacetate titanate) grade.

TYTAN™ TNBT by Borica is a high performance, non-toxic organometallic catalyst. It acts as a moisture scavenger to extend the shelf life of moisture-sensitive, high-viscosity products. TYTAN™ TNBT is used in solvent-based system, RTV sealants and resin modification.

TYTAN™ TTBT by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a non-yellowing tetra t-butyl titanate grade. Exhibits improved build-up of physical properties, enhanced adhesion, and extended shelf-life through moisture scavenging.

• Offers fast curing through catalysis of hydrolysis of methoxy terminated curing agents (Si-O-Me) and increased modulus of elasticity through crosslinking with Si-OH functional groups.
• It is recommended for construction, automotive and electronic industries.
• TYTAN™ TTBT is suitable for RTV silicone sealants.

TYTAN™ S3 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a titanium ethylacetoacetate compound used in silane and silicone formulations. It is moisture-sensitive and cures immediately upon exposure to moisture at room temperature. TYTAN™ S3 is suitable for RTV silicone sealants.

PTSI (p-toluenesulfonyl Isocyanate) by Foru Chemtech is a moisture scavenger. It is a colorless, transparent liquid with low viscosity and a single functional isocyanate group. It reacts readily with water, helping to remove moisture in polyurethane (PU) formulations. PTSI (p-toluenesulfonyl Isocyanate) is used in PU systems to eliminate moisture in solvents, fillers, pigments and adhesives.

AL 194 by AL2CHEM SPECIALTIES is a vinyltris (methylethylketoxime) silane. It is a silicon compound with an oxime functional group. Acts as an adhesion promoter, coupling- & crosslinking agent, surface modifier, and water scavenger.
