Antioxidants for Adhesives and Sealants

VENLOAOX 1024 by Syntheo is a metal deactivator and primary, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is designed for polyethylene wire, cable resins, filled polyolefins in contact with copper NBR fuel hoses, X-SBR, SBR, styrene homo- and co-polymers. It offers effective protection for polymers against thermal degradation and metal-catalyzed oxidation.

VENLOAOX 168 by Syntheo is a high-effective solid phosphite ester antioxidant. It is superior to other phosphite ester in the effective protection of polymers’ color. It reacts during processing with hydroperoxides formed by autoxidation of polymers preventing process induced degradation and extending the performance of primary antioxidants.

• It synergistically combined with other antioxidants comprises polyolefins and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene (HDPE, LLDPE), polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers as well as polycarbonates and polyamides.

CHINOX B225 by Double Bond Chemical is a self crosslinkable copolymer of vinyl chloride and ethylene with amide functionality. It contains surfactant as stabilizing system. It shows low surface tack, very good resistance against water, solvent, alkali, light and general aging. Film made from vinyl chloride-ethylene copolymer is opaque and offers good heat-sealing properties. CHINOX B225 is used in adhesives for high frequency curing.

CHINOX F57 by Double Bond Chemical is Benzenamine, N-phenyl-, reaction products with 2, 4, 4-trimethylpentene. It acts as an excellent co-stabilizer. It provides stabilization of the polyol that protects against oxidation during storage and transport of the polyol as well as scorch protection during foaming. It exhibits low volatility. It is a liquid amine antioxidant for processing and long-term thermal stabilization. It is highly compatible with polymers, such as polyols and polyurethane. CHINOX F57 can be used in combination with other stabilizers, such as hindered phenolic antioxidants, UV absorbers, and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). It is recommended for hot melt adhesives at concentrations of about 0.1 to 0.5% and other adhesives.

CHINOX B215 by Double Bond Chemical is a mixture of 66.7% Chinox 168 and 33.3% Chinox 1010. It acts as an antioxidant. It is available as white crystalline powder or granules. CHINOX B215 applications include polyolefin, PVC, PU, ABS, EVA and elastomer (butyl rubber, SBR, SEBS, EPN, and EPDM).

Rubber Accelerator ZDEC (ZDC, EZ) (Powder) by Dalian Richon Chem is a zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate. It acts as an antioxidant. It is recommended for adhesive systems. The shelf life of Rubber Accelerator ZDEC (ZDC, EZ) (Powder) is 2 years.

OMNISTAB AN 1520 by Deltachem(QingDao) is a multifunctional liquid phenolic antioxidant. It effectively protects the substrate against thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and long-term heat aging. It has an ability to provide both processing and long-term heat aging stability when used alone, at low levels and without co-stabilizers. It's used for organic substrates. OMNISTAB AN 1520 can be used with other additives such as secondary antioxidants, light stabilizers and other functional stabilizers. It's recommended to be used at dosage of 0.05-0.30%.

Antioxidant B-215 by Dalian Richfortune Chemicals is a combination of antioxidant 1010 and antioxidant 168. It exhibits outstanding machining stability and long-term protection for polyolefins. Antioxidant B-215 is suitable for adhesives applications.

CHINOX 168 by Double Bond Chemical is a tris (2, 4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite grade. It acts as an antioxidant. CHINOX 168 is a white crystalline powder suitable for adhesives.

ALVINOX P by 3V Sigma is a phenol based grade. Acts as an anti-oxidant. It decomposes hydroperoxide and provides long-term oxidative degradation in combination with anti-oxidants (hindered phenols and/or thio-ethers). It offers long term heat stabilization, high hydrolytic stability and low volatility. ALVINOX P is suitable for adhesive based applications. Recommended dosage level is 0.05 to 0.3%.
