Adhesive ingredients for Non-woven

Escorez™ 5300 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a tackifying resin. This cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin is designed to tackify a variety of adhesive polymers including SIS and SEBS block copolymers, metallocene polyolefins, APP and APAO. It is compatible with synthetic polyisoprene and 15% ethylene vinyl acetate. Escorez™ 5300 is used in hot melt adhesives and disposable adhesive formulations requiring a high level of stability. Also, used in nonwoven applications.

DA-265H by Dairen Chemical is a non-plasticized aqueous milky-white vinyl acetate-ethylene-acrylate terpolymer emulsion. It contains cellulose/surfactant as stabilizing system. After drying, a water-resistant, clear and very flexible film is formed to provide stability against degradation & discoloration by UV-light, oxygen and ozone. DA-265H is designed for pressure sensitive adhesives including labels, decals & tapes, plastic foils to scrims & non-woven, film/film laminations, lacquered paper to other substrates and leather bonding. It is suitable for floor-, wall- and ceiling adhesives. Its shelf life is 6 months.

Butofan® 2469 by BASF is cold polymerized styrene-butadiene dispersion. Used in some general-purpose adhesive applications.

Irostic® M 7090 by Huntsman is a polyurethane-based raw material. This flexible one or two component system can provide adhesion to various substrates. It is compatible with Irodur® cross-linkers to improve heat stability, hydrolysis resistance and resistance to greases, oils as well as solvents of Irostic® adhesive films. Offers high crystallization, good heat resistance, excellent green strength, high tear, good hydrolysis resistance, low temperature flexibility and high peel strength. Irostic® M 7090 is used in reactive hot-melt adhesives, industrial as well as specialty adhesives, do-it-yourself (DIY) adhesives, textile bonding agents for woven/non-woven fabrics, print industry adhesives, solvent-based footwear adhesives, bonding solutions for the manufacture of furniture as well as sporting equipment, packaging materials, aerospace as well as automotive assemblies and also in the manufacture of solvent-based or solvent-free synthetic TPU adhesives.

SYLVARES™ TR 7115 by KRATON is a thermally stable polyterpene tackifier. It provides low odor & volatility and good aliphatic compatibility. It is compatible with natural rubber, synthetic elastomers, SIS block copolymers and polyolefins adhesives. SYLVARES™ TR 7115 is suitable for use in PSA tapes & labels and non-woven applications.

SYLVARES™ 520 by KRATON is phenol-modified copolymer of styrene and alpha methyl styrene. It offers benefits such as very good adhesion, light color (water white), flexibility and thermal stability. SYLVARES™ 520 is used in EVA-based hot melt adhesives for packaging, bookbinding, non-woven and low temperature applications.

Eastoflex™ E1060 by Synthomer is an amorphous polyolefin (copolymer of propylene and ethylene) grade. It is inherently soft, tacky and flexible. Used in automotive, building and construction, film and wax modification, footwear and leather, hot-melt adhesives, laminating, non-wovens, pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent-borne adhesives, tapes and labels. Offers consistent quality, low odor, good heat & UV stability and low color. Exhibits good water and moisture resistance. Eastoflex™ E1060 shows broad compatibility with numerous elastomers, polymers and other tackifying resins.

Culminal™ MHEC 35000 P1R by Ashland is a non-ionic cellulose ether. It shows compatibility with many surfactants and polymers such as starch, guar and alginates. It provides pseudoplastic behavior and thixotropy. It is used as thickener, protective colloid, stabilizer, suspending aid, water-retention agent, binder, adhesion promoter, emulsion stabilizer and film former in construction, tobacco and nonwoven industries. It offers retarded solubility. Culminal™ MHEC 35000 P1R is used in construction industry (tile adhesives), tobacco industry (adhesives for cigarette paper and cigar seams) and nonwoven fabrics.

VINNEX® 2504 by Wacker is vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer used as a tackifier. Exhibits enhanced flexibility, improved performance in film sealing, improved compatibility with other biopolymers and improved compatibility with polar fillers. Has improved stiffness without affecting biodegradability. Increases impact and melt strength & therefore improves processability (e.g. cutting, removing from reel, separation of film). VINNEX® 2504 is suitable for hot-melt adhesives used in packaging (boxes, bags, foams), construction, consumer goods, medical applications and non-woven fabric.

SYLVARES™ TR 7125 by KRATON is a high softening point, thermally stable polyterpene tackifier. It provides low odor and volatility. It can used in investment casting applications and as a processing aid for gum mastics. It is compatible with natural rubber, SIS block copolymers and polyolefins. SYLVARES™ TR 7125 is used in PSA for tapes, labels & decals, hot-melt adhesives for packaging, non-woven and product assembly.
