Culminal™ MHEC 35000 P1R by Ashland is a non-ionic cellulose ether. It shows compatibility with many surfactants and polymers such as starch, guar and alginates. It provides pseudoplastic behavior and thixotropy. It is used as thickener, protective colloid, stabilizer, suspending aid, water-retention agent, binder, adhesion promoter, emulsion stabilizer and film former in construction, tobacco and nonwoven industries. It offers retarded solubility. Culminal™ MHEC 35000 P1R is used in construction industry (tile adhesives), tobacco industry (adhesives for cigarette paper and cigar seams) and nonwoven fabrics.

Celvolit® 1405 by Celanese is vinyl acetate ethylene copolymer. This high-performance polymer emulsion has polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) as a protective colloid. It exhibits extremely low VOC and excellent heat resistance. Celvolit® 1405 offers good bonding on different substrates with a fast setting speed. It is recommended for use in lacquered substrates for envelopes folder and carton book binding. In the tobacco industry, it is used in tipping, side seaming, packaging glue and foil/paper lamination.

Modified gum rosin polyol ester. It is a tackifier which is made from special refined gum rosin by a series of advanced processes of partial hydrogenation, esterification and stabilization. Exhibits good aging resistance and excellent compatibility. Also capable in raising the initial and persistent viscosity of pressure sensitive adhesives. Used in hot-melt-, water- or solvent based pressure sensitive adhesives for glue sticks or granules, sanitary napkins, structures and tapes, packaging, bookbinding as well as cigarettes.

KOMOTAC® RESIN KS2100W is a modified gum rosin polyol ester by Guangdong Komo. It is a tackifier made from special refined gum rosin by a series of advanced processes of partial hydrogenation, esterification and stabilization. Exhibits good aging resistance and excellent compatibility. Used in hot-melt-, water- or solvent-based PSA for glue sticks or granules. KOMOTAC® RESIN KS2100W is also suitable for adhesives for sanitary napkins, structures and tapes, packaging, bookbinding as well as cigarettes.
