A SpecialChem client is seeking a flexible or curved display module.

It must exhibit proper optical, mechanical, electrical & thermal interface performance and fulfill the automotive display specifications. The display panel will be optically bonded to a variety of curved surfaces such as glass, PET, PMMA, etc.

The SpecialChem client is a leading supplier of automotive interior components and has an active collaboration with a customer for a product to be sold worldwide in 2020.

The goal is to integrate a formed display into automotive interior systems.

The SpecialChem client is seeking a co-development partner to develop and manufacture this display.

Detailed Solution Description

The display solution must meet the following specifications:

Temperature: Operating temperature from -30 to 80 °C
Display performance:
- Pixel density of 150 PPI or more
- Brightness > 500 Nits
- Refresh rate of 60Hz or faster
12.3” image size and curvature of 800mm
