Polyamide is a key polymer used in the automotive and E&E industries. New trends in these areas such as e-mobility, lightweighting and high heat environments pose it some significant challenges.
This webinar will discuss two key drivers for new developments in PA:
- High Heat Applications, for example turbo chargers, sees PA needing to withstand higher temperature conditions for which novel heat stabilizers are necessary.
- The E-mobility and E&E sectors are using an increasing number of electrical and electronic functional parts, placing new demands on polymeric materials and leading towards additive packages that are free of metal and halides.
Brüggemann has approached these challenges by launching BRUGGOLEN® TP-H2062, a metal and halogen free stabilizer system for e-mobility and other E&E applications, and with stabilizers such as BRUGGOLEN® TP-H1804 and BRUGGOLEN® TP-H1805 which close the heat stabilisation gap between 180-200°C and temperatures above 200°C.
