ADINS® Clay 80T by Tolsa is an organomodified, high purity, ultrafine natural silicate-based flame retardant. It strongly boosts char formation during combustion and protects polymer from further fire propagation. Offers tailored performance benefits and improved processability. Offers the advantages of an inorganic halogen-free technology which guarantees no additional toxic fume formation and minimal environmental impact. It improves the thermal and fire insulation properties of extruded polystyrene foams (XPS). It improves the cellular structure in XPS foams with lower cell size, higher cell density, lower open cell content and higher cell size homogeneity. ADINS® Clay 80T is used in wire and cable and electronics. Its typical dosage level is 1-5%. ADINS® Clay 20 by Tolsa acts as a flame retardant. It is an organomodified, high purity, ultrafine and naturally occurring needle-like silicate based on quaternary ammonium salt. It strongly boosts char formation during combustion and protects polymer from further fire propagation. It is a free-flowing powder. ADINS® Clay 20 is suitable for different substrates, including thermoplastics and elastomers. ADINS® Fireproof Sil-1 by Tolsa is a sepiolite-based flame retardant. This ceramifying additive is made from natural silicate activated with different compounds such as bored or phosphorate-based silicate. It is very stable, consistent, compact and exhibits low-temperature glass.
