ZELEC® UN by Stepan Company is un-neutralized alcohol phosphate-based release agent in polyester resin molding operations that requires external heat, such as matched metal die, compression and pultrusion.

Protects ferrous metal molds from corrosion during storage.

Offers reduced danger of loss or damage to expensive molds or parts due to improper application of external parting agents.

It improves surface appearance of molded parts and produces exceptionally smooth surfaces on molded products made from low shrink, unsaturated,
thermosetting polyester resins.

ZELEC® UN offers improved surface appearance of molded parts.

Suitable for pultrusion molding of fiberglass reinforced polyester resins.

Recommended dosage level is 0.25-0.75 parts per 100.

ZELEC® 874 by Stepan Company is pentaerythritol tetraacrylate/ caprate ester used in a variety of metalworking and textile applications. ZELEC® 874 is suitable for construction and industrial products. ZELEC® VM-1 by Stepan Company is an alcohol phosphate grade. Used as a viscosity modifier in pultrusion molding of polyester resin systems. ZELEC® VM-1 is suitable for construction applications. ZELEC® TY by Stepan Company is a neutralized alcohol phosphate-based anti-static agent. It helps lower electrical resistivity to the surfaces to which it is applied when used in an environment with adequate atmospheric moisture. It is effective where water repellancy properties are desired, especially when used in conjunction with fluorochemical water repelling products. ZELEC® TY is stable in bases and in acids below pH 4. Compatible with polyolefin fibers, plastics and films and on carpet. It can be applied by padding, impregnating, spraying or coating followed by drying in standard equipment. Recommended dosage is 0.5% on the weight of the surface fiber when used on nylon in carpet applications. ZELEC® 2-EH by Stepan Company acts as an internal release agent in epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin molding. It functions as an anti-static agent for plastic and textile applications. It provides cleanliness and smooth surfaces on molded products made from low shrink, unsaturated and thermosetting polyester resins. It is suggested for processing by pultrusion, sheet- and bulk molding operations of fiberglass reinforced composites. ZELEC® 2-EH protects ferrous metal molds from corrosion during storage. It is designed for construction and industrial products. ZELEC® NK by Stepan Company is neutralized alcohol phosphate. It is a non-durable antistatic agent for use in plastics and films. It is dispersible in aqueous systems, but is preferred in solvent systems. ZELEC® NK can be formulated with a variety of organic solvents and oils and surfactants to make useful water emulsifiable concentrates. ZELEC® 887 by Stepan Company is a thermally stable lubricant base providing high and low temperature performance characteristics. It exhibits high smoke point, low viscosity and boundary lubricant additive properties. ZELEC® 887 used in high performance textile and metal working applications. Recommended for construction, industrial products, drawing compounds and plastics. ZELEC® NE by Stepan Company is a neutralized alcohol phosphate-based anti-static agent. ZELEC® NE is used in the pultrusion manufacturing process and is highly effective for textiles, plastics and films. ZELEC® MR-2 by Stepan Company is an alcohol phosphate used in the pultrusion manufacturing process and functions as a viscosity modifier and mold release agent. ZELEC® MR-2 is suitable for construction and industrial products. ZELEC® AN by Stepan Company is amine neutralized phosphate ester. It acts as an anti-static and release agent for plastics. The reduced acidity of this grade allows reduction of die corrosion in closed molded thermoset applications. ZELEC® AN finds application in construction and industrial products. It is also designed for neutral scouring and pultrusion.
