SILMAPROCESS AL2660 by Silma is a highly concentrated masterbatch of super-high molecular weight functionalized polysiloxane, finely and synergistically dispersed on LLDPE carrier. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used in halogen-free compounds as a processing aid, improving viscosity and homogeneity. </li>
<li>It acts as a flame-retardant synergist (L.O.I.) and smoke suppressant, while also eliminating surface defects and die drool. </li>
<li>It works as a slipping agent, external lubricant, and releasing agent during cable extrusion. </li>
<li>It improves mechanical properties and surface quality of the finished goods. </li>
<li>It reduces melt viscosity during compounding, enhancing throughput, stability, compound homogeneity. </li>
<li>SILMAPROCESS AL2660 reduces THR (Total Heat Release) and PHRR (Peak Heat Release Rate) in halogen-free compounds and serves as a scratch and abrasion resistance enhancer in polyolefin and rubber compounds. </li>
<li>The recommended dosage for the processing aid is 0.5-1%, while for extrusion or injection molding processes is 0.5-5%. </li>

The recommended dosage level as a processing aid is 0.5-1% and 2-4% to improve scratch & abrasion resistance. It should be used in extrusion or injection molding process at a dosage from 0.5% till 5% according to need, to the type and requirements of the final product.

SILMAPROCESS AL1910 IPN by Silma works as scratch- & abrasion resistant, slipping agent, external lubricant and release agent. It also works as a processing aid, viscosity reducer, homogeneity and trough output improver, flame retardant synergist (L.O.I.) and smoke suppressant. During the injection molding, it can reduce cycle time and improve surface quality & soft touch. It is a masterbatch of super-high molecular weight polysiloxane elastomer reacted in presence of a melted thermoplastic polymer creating an IPN (interpenetrated polymer network).
