This masterbatch increases mechanical properties of the recycled PET bottle and virgin grade. It is able to rebuild the PET chain in a linear sense to give it a new life and the same or better mechanical properties of the virgin one. SILMALINK AX2292 by Silma is a compatibilizer or/and crosslinker in many reactive applications to build a network copolymerization between organic CH groups and organic/inorganic OH groups in presence of accelerators like peroxide and sulfur. It is 50% of functional silane in thermoplastic granules form. It is used simply to mix with the compound pellets during compound/extrusion or injection molding. In the case of formulation with fillers like MDH, ATH and various number of silicates with the presence of OH groups, it can create a chemical bond with them during crosslinking process. It is suitable in various compounding processes like XLPE, crosslinked EVA and rubbers. It is used at a dosage from 0.5-3% it depends on the needs. SILMALINK AX2292 has a shelf life of 6 months.
