Rhenopren® 10 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a refined rape-seed oil cross-linked with sulfur-based processing promoter. It provides uncured compounds with a high resistance to deformation. It possesses no influence on the vulcanization, not even in reactive accelerator combinations. It is used in natural rubber compounds, open-cured profiles and hose, rubber bands, rollers, hand-made articles, medical and food contact qualities (bottle and jar sealing rings, wine and beer hose). Rhenopren® Asolvan by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter in rubber compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber such as NBR, CR, CSM and other specialty rubbers. It is not extracted by oil, benzene or plasticizer, so the swelling resistance of vulcanizates remains practically unaffected. It is suitable for soft nitrile rubber vulcanizates, fuel- and mineral oil-resistant goods such as rollers, fuel hoses and articles for food contact applications. Recommended dosage level is 5-30 phr and for foodstuff qualities maximum 20%, calculated on the finished article. Rhenopren® Asolvan has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® C by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter in rubber compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber. It has a dispersing effect on rubber chemicals. It improves the extrudability, calendaring as well as the resistance towards deformation of uncured compounds. It finds application in brightly colored, molded and extruded goods, rubber goods for medical, household, sports and leisure articles. Recommended dosage level is 5-30 phr and for foodstuff qualities maximum 20%, calculated on the finished article. Rhenopren® C has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® HF by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter in compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber. It is a semi-solid sulfur factice and has a dispersing effect on all rubber chemicals, particularly in blends of various elastomers (e.g. NR/EPDM and SBR/ EPDM). It improves the heat resistance of uncured compounds, the rate of extrusion and the formation of a closed surface skin with cellular- and micro cellular rubber. It is suitable for extended polymer blends, based on EPDM. It is also used for food contact applications. Recommended dosage level is 5-15 phr and for foodstuff qualities maximum 20% calculated on the finished article. Rhenopren® HF has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® EPS by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter for natural- and synthetic rubber. It offers uncured compounds a good dimensional stability and excellent processability (green strength). It also acts as a polymer plasticizer and stands for good extrudability of compounds. It is not extracted by oil, benzene and plasticizers, so the swelling resistance of vulcanizates remains practically unaffected. It can be used both for sulfur and peroxide cross-linking. It shows a velvety surface finish and degassing of compounds is facilitated. Rhenopren® EPS is suitable for roller coverings, EPDM sponge profiles, erasers and technical rubber components. Recommended dosage level for molded and extruded goods of all kinds based on NR and SR is 5-20 phr and for eraser compounds is 50-300 phr. It has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® MB by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter for natural rubber. It is refined rape-seed oil cross-linked with sulfur and blended with mineral oil and inorganic stabilizers. It can be processed by extrusion. It is used for cold-cured goods such as light-colored calendared sheeting and rubber-coated textiles. Rhenopren® 14 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter for compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber. It offers uncured compounds with a high resistance to deformation and green compounds with good stability. It is applicable in bicycle valve tubing, rubber threads, printer rollers, hand-made goods, surface layer for rubber shoes, fabric proofing, open-cured profiles and hoses. Recommended dosage level is 5-40 phr and for food contact applications max. 20% relative to finished article. Rhenopren® 14 has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® ZD by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter in rubber compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber. It has a dispersing effect on all rubber chemicals. It enhances the dynamic resilience of the vulcanizates based on SBR, extrudability, calendaring and dimensional stability at high temperature of uncured compounds. It is designed for technical molded and extruded goods, shoe uppers and cable products. Recommended dosage level of Rhenopren® ZD is 5-20 phr. It has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenopren® Asolvan T by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a processing promoter in rubber compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubber such as NBR, CR, CSM and other specialty rubbers. It is not extracted by oil, benzene and plasticizers, so the swelling resistance of vulcanizates remains practically unaffected. It is designed for soft nitrile rubber vulcanizates, fuel- and mineral oil-resistant goods such as rollers and fuel hoses. Recommended dosage level of Rhenopren® Asolvan T is 5-30 phr.
