Rhenogran® MMBI-70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubbers. It shows synergistic effects in combination with other antioxidants. It acts as a retarder on CBS, MBT, thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators, hence increases processing safety and storage stability of the compounds. It reduces the modulus and contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for all kinds of transparent, white and colored rubber articles, fabric proofing, formulations including ultra-accelerators, heat resistant mixes without sulfur. Rhenogran® MMBI-70 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® ZMMBI-50 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubber such as SBR, IR and NBR. In combination with other anti-oxidants, it provides synergistic and outstanding protection from rubber poisons. It affords good protection against oxidation and contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for transparent, white and colored rubber goods, e.g. home and leisure articles, fabric proofing and toys. It is also applicable for goods that must withstand heat when used with thiuram, but little or no sulfur. Rhenogran® ZMMBI-50 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® MBI-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining anti-oxidant for vulcanizates based on natural- and synthetic rubbers. It is also used as a synergistic for other anti-oxidants. It provides the vulcanizates with some protection against copper and manganese poisoning (rubber poisons). It gives better results in combination with dithiocarbamate and thiuram accelerators. It contains EPDM as a polymeric binder. It is suitable for rubber articles which have to withstand oxygen and steam, heat resistant products, white, colored, and transparent articles of all kinds, fabric proofing. Recommended dosage level as an anti-oxidant is 0.6-1.5 phr, for steam-resistant grades is 2-3 phr and for transparent grades is 0.4 phr. Rhenogran® MBI-80 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® Fe-Red-70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is iron oxide pigment for coloring compounds based on natural- and synthetic rubbers. It shows good alkali resistance, very high coverage and might improve ageing characteristics. It is suitable for obtaining muted red colors, especially in highly filled compounds. It finds application in technical rubber articles, such as shoe soles, heels, rubber shoes, water hoses, bicycle tires, floor coverings and colored hard rubber. Recommended dosage level of Rhenogran® Fe-Red-70 is 2-5 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® MBS-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers. It causes a considerably long scorch time, high processing safety and a fast cure. It is used as primary accelerator for the low-sulfur vulcanization or in combination with dithiocarbamate and thiuram accelerators. It provides good aging resistance and compression set. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. In conjunction with Rhenogran® TMTM-80, gives very high degree of cross-linking. It finds application in treads, carcasses, conveyor belts, floor coverings, footwear and cable sheathings. Rhenogran® MBS-80 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® DOTG-70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubber. It causes very slow onset of cure and a relatively slow rate of cure. It is recommended to be used with anti-oxidant, as it causes strong reversion if used alone. In combination with mercapto, sulfenamide, thiuram and di-thiocarbamate accelerators, reciprocal activation and secondary acceleration can be achieved. It enhances cross-linking density, rate of cure and can obtained good mechanical properties and ageing resistance. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is designed for technical articles (especially thick-walled components), band tires, damping elements, roller coverings and cable sheathing. Rhenogran® DOTG-70 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® TMTM-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for the very rapid and scorch-safe vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers. It also functions as curing agent for low-sulfur vulcanization. It provides good ageing resistance and contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is also used as secondary accelerator are of great technical importance, in combination with sulfenamide and mercapto. It is suitable in carcasses, treads, cable insulation, transparent articles, ebonite, light-colored and white vulcanizates. Rhenogran® TMTM-80 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® TAC-50 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a cross-linking co-agent for the peroxide vulcanization of synthetic rubber. It shows increased hardness, higher modulus, outstanding rebound resilience and abrasion resistance. It provides additional reactive sites for cross-linking and the rate of cross-linking can be improved by the addition of a co-agent. It is designed for molded and extruded technical articles based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM, e.g. seals, sleeves, cables and profiles. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-4 phr, depending on the amount of peroxide used. Rhenogran® TAC-50 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® S-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a curing agent for all natural- and synthetic rubbers. It improves resistance against aging and dynamic fatigue. In soft compounds, good dispersion of sulfur is of particular advantage. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is applicable in bright-colored compounds that have to be free of sulfur stains, and rubber articles that have to withstand dynamic stress. Rhenogran® S-80 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenogran® ZDEC-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an ultra-accelerator for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubber such as EPDM and SBR. It possesses high level of processing safety and offers very good tensile and resilience properties. It is suitable for technical articles, footwear and cables.
