Rhenofit® DDA by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an antioxidant natural- and synthetic rubbers. It prevents damage by oxygen and heat in NR, IR, BR, SBR and CR.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is suitable for applications at higher temperatures.</li> <li> It is effective against dynamic crack formation caused by oxygen.</li> <li> It meets the requirements for goods which come into contact with foodstuff, provided that the amount does not exceed 1.4% calculated on the finished goods.</li> <li> It finds application in heat resistance goods, bicycle tires, inner tubes, sponge rubber and shoe soles.</li> <li> Recommended dosage level as antioxidant and for protection against rubber poisons is 1-2 phr and as anti-flex cracking agent is 1.5-3.5 phr.</li> <li> Rhenofit® DDA has a shelf life of 1 year.</li> </ul> Rhenofit® D/A by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a vulcanization activator for polychloroprene rubber. It improves the processing safety of CR-, CSM-, CM- and CIIR-based rubber compounds by raising the critical temperature of basic accelerators. It reduces the tendency of rubber compounds to scorching, while it lowers the necessary activation temperature for acid accelerators. In polymers containing halogen, it acts as an acid acceptor, thereby enhancing aging properties. Rhenofit® D/A increases moduli and in cold-cured fabric proofing, it serves to neutralize traces of acid. It is applied in extruded and injection molded technical articles, bladders, roofing and compounds with chlorinated paraffin, cork and sulfur chloride factice (erasers, swimming caps and rubberized sheets). Recommended dosage level is 3-5 phr and has a shelf life of 1 year. Rhenofit® 2120 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a curing activator and acid acceptor particularly suitable for polychloroprene rubber (CR). It is active magnesium oxide. It prevents scorching and offers improved ageing properties. Rhenofit® 2150 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a curing activator and acid acceptor particularly suitable for polychloroprene rubber (CR). It is an active magnesium oxide. It offers improved ageing properties of the vulcanizates. Rhenofit® 1600 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for rubber products. It is a combination of urea- derivatives and dispersing agents in an aqueous paste form. It is used as blow promoter in cellular, micro-cellular and sponge rubber. It offers a mixture of scorch retarding and blow promoting properties. It can be processed by vulcanization process. Rhenofit® TRIM/S by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an activator for peroxide vulcanization. It increases hardness, higher moduli, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance. The degree of polymer cross-linking may be considerably increased from what is normally obtained by higher dosages of peroxide. It is suitable for EPDM compounds which are heavily loaded with carbon black and for black NBR compounds of high quality. It is used in molded and extruded technical articles based on EPDM, EPM, NBR, CM, seals, bushings, cables and profiles. Recommended shelf life of Rhenofit® TRIM/S is 1-3 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenofit® OCD by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an anti-oxidant designed for CR, NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR and EVM. It is suggested for applications that have to withstand higher temperatures. It is effective against dynamic crack formation caused by oxygen. In conjunction with Rhenogran® MMBI-70, Rhenofit® OCD, it is most effective for the protection of rubber goods which are exposed to heat. It is suitable for heat resistant goods, bicycle tires, inner tubes, sponge rubber and footwear (expanded rubber soles). Recommended dosage level as antioxidant and for protection against rubber poisons is 1-2 phr and as anti-flex cracking agent is 1.5-3.5 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenofit® BDMA/S by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an activator for peroxide vulcanization. It increases hardness, higher moduli, outstanding resilience and good abrasion resistance.
