Butanox® P-50 by Nouryon is a high reactive methyl isopropyl ketone peroxide (MIPKP) for optimal curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is also suitable for curing of laminating resins used for the production of boat hulls, deck parts, truck panels, car panels or sanitary ware products. It is very suitable in GRP products for high demanding end-markets like marine applications (boat building). Recommended for resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. The shelf life of Butanox® P-50 is 6 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® HBO-50 by Nouryon is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is suitable for the curing of laminating resins when a faster gelation and initial cure speed is required than can be obtained with Butanox® M-50. Butanox® HBO-50 is suitable for continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. The shelf life of this product is 3 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® M-50 by Nouryon is a medium-reactive, general purpose MEKP with low water content for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is particularly suitable for the curing of laminating resins, moreover the manufacture of light resistant parts may be possible contrary to the curing system benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerator. Butanox® M-50 is used in resin transfer molding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. It is also suitable for GRP curing systems e.g marine applications. The shelf life of this product is 6 months. Butanox® M-60 by Nouryon is a general-purpose curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is medium-reactive methyl ethyl ketone peroxide with low water content and 10% higher active oxygen compared to Butanox® M-50. Butanox® M-60 is used to manufacture of light resistant parts may be possible contrary to the curing system benzoyl peroxide/amine accelerator. Recommended for resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. It is the work horse in GRP curing systems. The shelf life of this product is 6 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® LPT-IN by Nouryon is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is suitable for those applications where a long gel time or production time is required. It is recommended for the cure of vinyl ester resins. Butanox® LPT-IN is suitable for extra slow-gelling and marine applications. It is specially designed for filament winding, continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. It is listed in TSCA. It has a shelf life of 6 months. Butanox® M-50A by Nouryon is a phthalate-free curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is a medium-reactive, general purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) with guaranteed low water content. Unpromoted unsaturated polyester resins can be heat-cured with Butanox® M-50A in the temperature range of 100-127°C. It also has a high MEKP monomer content which may provide faster gel times in some resin systems. Recommended for resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. The shelf life of this product is 3 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® M-60 VRD by Nouryon is a general-purpose, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins and n GRP curing systems in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is a medium reactive, MEKP with low water content, 10% higher active oxygen compared to Butanox® M-50, including a vanishing red indicator system. Butanox® M-60 VRD is suitable for resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. The shelf life of this product is 6 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® LPT-IN VRN by Nouryon is a general purpose, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is very suitable for extra slow-gelling and marine applications, and specially designed for filament winding. It includes a vanishing red indicator system. It offers a significantly longer gel time and is therefore particularly suitable for those applications where a long gel time or production time is required, for instance in the production of large parts and orthophthalic resins. Butanox® LPT-IN VRN is suitable for continuous laminating, resin transfer molding, vinylesters, hand lay up & spray up applications. Butanox® M-50 VR by Nouryon is a general-purpose, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. This medium-reactive, MEKP possesses low water and a vanishing red indicator system. Butanox® M-50 VR is suitable for gelcoats, resin transfer molding, filament winding, hand lay-up and spray up applications. Recommended for GRP products for e.g. marine applications. The shelf life of this product is 6 months. It is listed in TSCA. Butanox® LPT by Nouryon is a curing agent. Being thermally unstable substance, it may undergo self-accelerating decomposition. Butanox® LPT is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures.
