LUVOBATCH® PP FR 0234 by Lehmann & Voss is Antimony trioxide (Sb2O3)-free halogenated compound. Acts as a flame retardant. It is developed to withstand fire. Works in gaseous phase by interrupting radical reaction mechanism. Neutralizes energy-rich H- and OH-radicals produced in the event of a fire which are thus made unavailable for further reactions. Guarantees reliable metering and good dispersion while eliminating dust. Benefits include high product reliability and ease of handling. Suitable for sustainable, environment-friendly applications. Complies with UL94 V2. LUVOBATCH® PP FR 0234 is recommended dosing is 5-7.5 %. LUVOBATCH® PV BA 9791 by Lehmann & Voss is Azodicarbonamide/ sulfohydrazide based compound. Acts as a blowing agent. It is a dust-free masterbatch in compact form. Releases nitrogen, carbon dioxide or ammonia upon initiation by irradiation, heat or other forms of energy during processing of thermoplastics. Exhibits improved heat and noise insulation. Shows better dielectric properties, even gas distribution, no blooming, high effectivity and density reduction that enables weight reduction in final product. Suitable for stable and defined foamed plastic for various applications including high pressure decorative applications, lighter plastics, extrusion of hard PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and foam core pipes. LUVOBATCH® PV BA 9791 recommended dosage is 0.2-0.8 phr and recommended processing temperature is greater than 180 °C. Hindered amine. Acts as an UV (ultraviolet) light stabilizer (also known as UV absorber). It is a masterbatch which exhibits light resistance. Offers many benefits including avoidance of discoloration, color stability, lack of inherent color and low tendency to migrate. Filters harmful components of light and transforms them into heat. Prevents reactions of photoxidation products (peroxides and radicals) on surfaces and in deeper layers. Suitable for simple PE (polyethylene) films. Complies with ecological and economic considerations. Recommended dosing is 2-5%. Hindered amine. Acts as an UV (ultraviolet) light stabilizer (also known as UV absorber).
