Uniplex 83 by LANXESS is an excellent general-purpose plasticizer. It is used in polyvinyl chloride polymers and cellulosic resins as a replacement to the phthalate plasticizers. It exhibits low odor and excellent color stability. In cellulose nitrate films, it gives lower volatility loss, good resistance to yellowing and better adhesion to metals. It is also applicable in PVC Flooring, dairy product cartons, drink bottle- and food jar caps. It has a shelf life of 1 year. Uniplex 80 by LANXESS is a light-fast citric acid ester plasticizer and solvent exhibiting good compatibility with a wide range of polymers, including cellulosic (films, food wraps, cigarette filter), acrylics and polylactides. It does not promote fungal growth. It includes anti-corrosion properties in the application of lube additives. It has a shelf life of 1 year. Uniplex FRP-64 by LANXESS is a solid flame-retardant with a high chemical resistance combined with excellent light stability. It is used in thermoplastics such as unfilled and reinforced thermoplastic polyesters (PET and PBT) and polyamides (PA 6 and PA 66). Uniplex FRP-64 is recommended for applications where high chemical resistance and minimal thermal discoloration are required such as in E&E applications. It has a shelf life of 3 years. Uniplex 546 by LANXESS is a high molecular weight monomeric plasticizer having low volatility. It is compatible with many types of polymers including PVC and rubber. It is characterized by low migration, heat resistance, and high permanence. Recommended for use in PVC wire and cable applications, automotive interior sheeting and molding products. Uniplex 546 has a shelf life of 12 months. Uniplex 171 by LANXESS is an excellent plasticizer for thermosetting and thermoplastic resins. It imparts good gloss and wetting action to melamine, urea, and phenolic resins improving the mixing of filled products. It increases the flexibility and hardness of moldings made with urea resins. It reduces viscosity and enhances the flow of phenolic resins. It boosts the stability and compatibility of melamine resins, better strength, and abrasion resistance. It has a shelf life of 2 years. <b>Uniplex 165</b> is a di-isobutyl adipate (DiBA). Acts as a plasticizer and solvent. It has a very low viscosity and a high volatility. Imparts low temperature flexibility to various polymers, with a good balance of solvation and low temperature properties. It is compatible with cellulose esters inclusive cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) and cellulose nitrate (CN), polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymers (VCVAC), and rubber (CR, EVA). Uniplex 84 by LANXESS is a general-purpose, citric acid ester plasticizer exhibiting good compatibility with a wide range of resins and polymers, including PVC, PVdC, PVAc, polyacrylates and cellulose acetate. It is characterized by a moderate gelling behavior with a large number of polymers including PVC. It possesses high efficiency and good softening capacity. It is applicable in PVC and PVdC food packaging, plasticized articles intended to come into contact with food like drink bottle and food jar caps, transparent soft PVC articles. It is also used in children toys, cellulose acetate films and milling lubricant for aluminum foil or sheet steel. Uniplex 84 has a shelf life of 2 years. Uniplex DOS is Di-(2-Ethylhexyl) Sebacate. Acts as a plasticizer. It exhibits an advantageous blend of properties such as an excellent low temperature flexibility combined with a low volatility. It has a low viscosity, which, in combination with its weak ability to solvate PVC, has a positive effect on the initial viscosity and storage stability of plastisols, a lower volatility compared to the corresponding adipate. It help imparts a very good low-temperature resistance to suitably plasticized compounds; this effect is clearly noticeable even when Uniplex DOS is used in combination with other plasticizers, very good light stability to PVC compound. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), cellulosics (cellulose acetate), and rubber (chloroprene, nitrile, butadiene). It has a shelf life of at least 12 months. Uniplex® 125A by Lanxess is a low-temperature-resistant plasticizer suitable for a large number of polymers, inclusive PVC, NBR, SBR and PVAC. It exhibits low viscosity, which in combination with its weak ability to solvate PVC, has a positive effect on the initial viscosity and storage stability of plastisol. It shows good compatibility with large number of polymers, PVB resins and other plasticizers used in the manufacture of PVB film. It imparts low-temperature resistance to suitably plasticized compounds and light stability to PVC compounds. It is used in EVM, CR and EPM. Uniplex® 125A has a shelf life of 1 year. Uniplex 280CG is sucrose benzoate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is a clear, odorless, and non-crystalline brittle solid with a sharp softening range starting at around 93°C. It has excellent ultraviolet light stability & hydrolytic resistance. It improves the UV systems stability and allows easier processing. In addition, it imparts good film hardness, excellent gloss, and depth of gloss. It is compatible with a large number of resins and polymers including acrylates, phenolic modified alkyd resins, melamine and urea formaldehyde resins, cellulosics like ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose and cellulose acetobutyrate, polyesters, PVAc and PVAc modified PVC. It has a shelf life of at least 12 months.
