A mass-balanced grade of Vulkanox HS/LG by Lanxess which is marketed under the Scopeblue line is produced using circular acetone supplied by Borouge International as part of its Borvida™ B-acetone line.

According to Borealis, Borvida™ B-acetone is ISCC PLUS-certified, derived from non-food waste and residue biomass, and chemically identical to conventional acetone. Lanxess uses it as a circular building block for the mass-balanced version of its Vulkanox HS/LG antidegradant.
