Adimoll® DB is di-n-butyl adipate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is characterized by good compatibility with cellulose derivates. It is used as low-temperature-resistant plasticizer for melt processable cellulose acetate butyrates and cellulose propionates, low viscosity, enabling the manufacture of highly filled pigment batches, good compatibility with polyurethane systems, good gelling capacity for PVC but only a limited compatibility, high volatility and strong tendency to migrate, good compatibility with nitrocellulose. Typical fields of applications are calendering, extrusion, injection molding, pigment batches. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Adimoll® BO is benzyl octyl adipate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is characterized by low viscosity, which, in combination with its weak ability to solvate PVC, has a positive effect on the initial viscosity and storage stability of plastisols and good compatibility with a large number of polymers. It imparts very good low-temperature resistance to suitably plasticized compounds, rebound resilience to PVC and PVC / NBR blends, good light stability to PVC compounds. Compatible with PVC, NBR, SBR, CR, EVM, CR, EPM, nitro- and ethylcellulose, polystyrene and natural rubber. It is particularly beneficial to use it when very good low-temperature resistance and light stability are required, together with high elasticity. Typical fields of applications are calendering, extrusion, injection molding. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Adimoll® DO is di-2-ethylhexyl adipate. Acts as a plasticizer. Exhibits low viscosity, which, in combination with its weak ability to solvate PVC, has a positive effect on the initial viscosity and storage stability of plastisols. Imparts good low-temperature resistance to suitably plasticized compounds, good light stability to PVC compounds. Compatible with polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, rubbers, nitro- and ethyl cellulose, and polyvinyl acetate.
