TIMREX® KS 6 Graphite

TIMREX® KS 6 Graphite by Imerys is a graphite-based filler. It shows low friction, chemical inertness and absence of inherent abrasiveness and film-forming ability on metal surfaces. It exhibits a relatively inoffensive nature of both powders and products of combustion. Due to the low aspect ratio of the particle shape, they combine good lubricating properties and electrical conductivity with excellent processability. TIMREX® KS 6 Graphite is suitable for processes such as extrusion or injection molding. It is used in thermoplastics, thermoset resins, PTFE and elastomers.

TIMREX® C-THERM™ 011

TIMREX® C-THERM™ 011 by Imerys is a carbon-based filler. It is available in the form of soft granules. It has low friction, is chemically inert and shows the absence of inherent abrasiveness. It exhibits high thermal conductivity, thermal stability and electrical conductivity. It has film-forming ability on metal surfaces and has a relatively inoffensive nature of both powders and products of combustion and has a high aspect ratio. Extended graphite has a very low bulk density which makes it very difficult to feed into a polymer melt and TIMREX® C-THERM™ 011 overcomes these feed issues. It improves wear resistance, deformation strength and reduces thermal expansion in PTFE. It is suitable for polymer composites such as self-lubricating polymers and thermoplastics.

TIMREX® PC 40-OC

TIMREX® PC 40-OC by Imerys is a petroleum coke-based filler. It has low friction, is chemically inert and shows the absence of inherent abrasiveness. It exhibits high thermal conductivity, thermal stability and electrical conductivity. It has film-forming ability on metal surfaces and has a relatively inoffensive nature of both powders and products of combustion. It is calcined at high temperatures with low sulfur concentration, low content of oversized particles, high apparent density and high chemical stability against most chemical substances. It improves wear resistance, deformation strength and reduces thermal expansion in PTFE. TIMREX® PC 40-OC is suitable for polymer composites such as self-lubricating polymers & thermoplastics.
