HN-100 by Huber Engineered Materials is alumina trihydrate. Acts as a flame retardant. It is halogen–free and has very coarse particle size. The particle size distribution provides low cost flame retardant and smoke suppression. It can be filled at very high loadings and has excellent processing characteristics, up to 200°C. HN-100 is suitable for use in rubber goods, compression molded thermosets, latex, vinyl and urethane compounds and carpet backings.
