HITEX® -OB1 by HPL Additives is 2,2’-(vinylenedi-p-phenylene)bisbenzoxazole. Acts as an optical brightening agent. Offers excellent whitening property, good heat resistance, light fastness and low volatility. HITEX® -OB1 is suitable for various polymers at all stages of processing. Compatible with polyester and polyamide fibres as well as polycarbonates, acrylics, styrene homo & co-polymers including ABS, polyolefins, EVA. 2,5-Thiophenediylbis(5-tert.butyl-1,3-benzoxazole). Acts as an optical brightening agent. Can also be used as fluorescent whitening agent. Offers exceptional whitening properties, excellent resistance to heat, good light fastness and low volatility. Suitable for various polymers at all stages of processing. Particularly useful for engineering plastics including polyesters, polycarbonates, polyamides and acrylics, thermoplastic polyurethanes, PVC, polyolefins, styrene and copolymers. Recommended for indirect food contact.
