REGAL® 400 Pigment Black by Cabot is a low structure pigment black designed to imparts very good color strength. It is available in pellet form. REGAL® 400R by Cabot is a low structured carbon black used as an additive and filler for plastic and rubber. Provides high gloss and very good color strength. REGAL® 400R imparts very good dispersion and color in artificial leather and other textile applications. Low surface area, low structure furnace carbon black. Used in butyl and halobutyl polymer in tire innerliners, curing bladders and butyl tubes. Provides reduced air permeability, improved flex fatigue, high loadability, very good flex, fatigue, and tear properties and improved thermal conductivity. Offers broad aggregate size distribution. REGAL® SRF by Cabot is a carbon black in the class known as Semi-Reinforcing Furnace (SRF) carbon blacks. It has a lower surface area than ASTM N500 and N600 carbon blacks and a structure lower than ASTM N774 carbon black.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It exhibits reduced viscosity, less heat generation in processing, increased die swell and extrusion shrinkage.</li>
<li>It possesses higher resilience, electrical resistivity, lower modulus, tensile strength and compression set.</li>
<li>It contributes to reduced swelling in adverse environments and reduced permeability. In association with mineral fillers, it offers a good compounding alternative to thermal blacks.</li>
<li>REGAL® SRF is used in a wide range of industrial rubber product applications such as gaskets, seals, windscreen wiper blades, engine mountings, hose linings, tire tubes and inner-liner compounds.</li></ul> REGAL® 300 by Cabot is a low structure, reinforcing carbon black, conforming to ASTM N326 carbon black target values. It provides high green strength and low viscosity for good scorch resistance and compound flow. It has the lowest structure of the ASTM N300 carbon black series.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>The surface area is similar to ASTM N330, higher than ASTM N351 but lower than ASTM N339, N347 and N375 carbon blacks.</li>
<li>It exhibits high surface area, elongation and tear resistance.</li>
<li>It is suitable with nylon, polyester, rayon and polyamide.</li>
<li>REGAL® 300 is used in belt skim, carcass ply coating compounds of passenger, truck and OTR tires.</li>
<li>It is applicable in rubber coatings compound of steel wire and fabric layers in various hoses and belts.</li></ul>
