coloration of plastics, surface quality and retention of polymer mechanical properties. It is used in aesthetic applications where high levels of carbon black dispersion are required. It provides good color, blue undertone and smooth surface. It is compatible with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate (PC) blends, polyamide (PA), polyoxymethylene (POM), polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer (TPO). BLACK PEARLS® 880 is designed for mold parts, consumer electronics, home appliances, automotive interiors and exteriors. BLACK PEARLS® 800 by Cabot is a specialty carbon black. It marks the industry standard for high jetness black coloration of plastic parts used in diverse, high value and aesthetic applications. It is suitable for applications where black coloration but low carbon black loading are required. It sets an industry benchmark for excellent blue undertone and low masterbatch viscosity (which enables high masterbatch loading). It is compatible with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), other styrenics, polycarbonate (PC) & PC blends, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer (TPO). It is the best choice of polymers that may be sensitive to the addition of carbon black, including polyamide (PA), polyesters, and POM. It offers good dispersibility and surface quality for molded part. BLACK PEARLS® 800 finds application in automotive interiors, consumer electronics and home appliances. BLACK PEARLS® 2000 by Cabot is a very fine particle-sized carbon black. It is a high surface area product with an extremely high structure. It is a furnace process carbon black designed for critical applications demanding excellent conductivity and good physical properties. It offers anti-static discharge properties at low loadings in rubber compounds. It is recommended for use in blends with other carbon blacks. BLACK PEARLS® 2000 is designed for hospital flooring, sheeting, conveyor and power transmission belts, hoses for mining, petroleum and cable screening. BLACK PEARLS® 5560 by Cabot is a premium, specialty carbon black pigment. It offers a high level of jetness (color strength) with bluetone. It exhibits high cleanliness resulting in filterability, increased spin pack life and reduced fiber breakage. It provides consistent quality and low lot-to-lot variability. BLACK PEARLS® 5560 is used in synthetic fiber and masterbatch color concentrate. BLACK PEARLS® L by Cabot is a low structure specialty black pigment. It imparts high gloss and jetness. The dispersibility of this grade depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It has oxidized surface and disperses more easily than other Cabot carbon blacks. It can be used in plastics. BLACK PEARLS® 430 by Cabot is a general-purpose carbon black recommended for tinting, coloring and UV applications in plastics and dispersions. It is an opacifying and weathering agent for extruded films. Its morphology allows low viscosity and high loadings in masterbatches. BLACK PEARLS® 430 is applicable in utility pipes. BLACK PEARLS® 450A111 by Cabot is a general-purpose, specialty carbon black recommended for tinting, coloring and UV applications. It offers jetness and bluetone in a variety of molded plastics parts. BLACK PEARLS® 450A111 provides low grit and ash for improved surface smoothness and quality in final articles, similar to BLACK PEARLS® 460. BLACK PEARLS® 4560i by Cabot is a specialty carbon black pigment. It offers outstanding cleanliness along with good color strength and blue tone for synthetic fibers. It is easy to process due to lower masterbatch viscosity and higher masterbatch loading. BLACK PEARLS® 4560i provides consistent quality and low lot-to-lot variability. BLACK PEARLS® 900 by Cabot is specialty carbon black for plastic applications. It offers dispersion, high level of jetness performance and with good blue undertone. It is suitable with ABS, PC blends, PP and TPOs for aesthetic applications. The optimal performance levels can be achieved with this product, by incorporating into a masterbatch which requires relatively sophisticated, high shear processing conditions. BLACK PEARLS® 900 is used in highly demanding applications where OEMs require very deep black color in plastic molded parts like consumer electronics, automotive interiors and house appliances.
